JACOB BELL - PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
• signed as an unrestricted free agent by St. Louis Rams.
• selected by Tennessee in the fifth round (138th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft.

PROFESSIONAL: Fifth-year lineman joined the Rams after spending first four seasons of career with Tennessee…46 career starts with 43 coming at left guard and the other three at right tackle…blocking efforts helped Titans develop fifth-ranked rushing offense (2,214 rushing yards) in the NFL in 2006, setting a franchise record with a 4.7-yards per carry average…earned All-Rookie honors in 2004 from ESPN.com, Football Digest and Pro Football Weekly after helping running back Chris Brown gain over 1,000 rushing yards and protecting quarterbacks Steve McNair and Billy Volek as they combined for over 3,800 passing yards…made NFL debut at Miami 9/11/04…earned first career start vs. Indianapolis 9/19/04.

2007 SEASON: Played in a career-high 16 games with 16 starts…also started in Titans’ playoff contest…opened holes for rushing attack that ranked fifth in the NFL gaining 2,109 yards (131.8 yards per game) behind RB LenDale White’s career-high 1,110 yards…part of an offensive line that did not allow a sack in two games and only one sack in five others.
• Member of an offensive line that opened holes for Titans’ backs to gain 282 rushing yards in Week 1 at Jacksonville 9/9…282 rushing yards marked the second-highest total in franchise history.
• Part of an offensive line that did not allow a sack in 26 pass attempts in Week 3 at New Orleans 9/24.
• Opened holes for Titans’ ball carries to gain 192 rushing yards on 36 carries (5.3 avg.) in Week 8 vs. Oakland 10/28.
• Protection helped Vince Young to throw for a career-best 305 passing yards in Week 11 at Denver 11/19.
• Started first career playoff game at San Diego 1/6/08…provided running lanes for Titans’ backs to gain 119 yards rushing.

2006 SEASON: Started 13 games at left guard and two games at right tackle… inactive at San Diego 9/17 with toe injury…helped pave way for fifth ranked rushing attack in NFL and five 200-yard rushing games which ranked second in the NFL…opened running lanes for Travis Henry to amass 1,211 rushing yards and Offensive Rookie of the Year Vince Young as he gained 552 rushing yards, becoming the first rookie quarterback in the Super Bowl era to reach 500 rushing yards.
• Helped Travis Henry rush for career-high 178 yards at Washington 10/15.
• Led the way for a rushing team that posted season-high 219 rushing yards vs. Indianapolis 12/3.
• Blocking efforts helped offense total season-high 418 yards at Houston 12/10.

2005 SEASON: Played in nine games with one start at right tackle…also saw action at right guard, left tackle and on special teams.
• Made only start of season at right tackle in season opener at Pittsburgh 9/11.
• Relieved injured Benji Olson at guard and was part of a line that did not allow a sack at Houston 10/9.

2004 SEASON: Played in 15 games with 14 starts at left guard before tearing his right anterior cruciate ligament against Denver 12/25…named to All-Rookie teams by ESPN.com, Football Digest and Pro Football Weekly…helped Chris Brown rush for 1,067 yards and protected Steve McNair and Billy Volek as they combined for 3,829 passing yards.
• Made NFL debut at Miami 9/11…came off bench in third quarter, substituting for Zach Piller who suffered season-ending left bicep injury.
• Notched first career start at left guard against Indianapolis 9/19…helped Chris Brown gain 152 rushing yards.
• Helped team gain 542 yards of offense against Kansas City 12/13.
• Provided protection for QB Billy Volek to pass for 492 yards at Oakland 12/19.
• Suffered right ACL tear vs. Denver 12/25…left game in second quarter…injury caused him to be inactive for season finale against Detroit 1/2.
 
JACOB BELL - COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS
• Played in 39 games with 38 starts at Miami (Ohio), gaining starting experience at left tackle (13 games), right tackle (two) and right guard (23)…helped protect one of college football’s top rated quarterbacks, Ben Roethlisberger, during junior and senior seasons.
• As senior, started all 14 games at right guard and earned first-team All-MAC honors en route to conference championship…helped Redhawks set school and conference records for most points (553) and most total yards (7,016)….helped team set school record for rushing touchdowns in season (34).
• As junior, started first two contests at left tackle before shifting to right guard, where he started nine of next 10 games.
• Started every game as redshirt freshman at left tackle and gained two starts there as sophomore.
• Graduated with degree in sport organization in December 2003.
 
JACOB BELL - PERSONAL INFORMATION
• Born Jacob Adam Bell.
• Attended St. Ignatius High in Cleveland, Ohio, helping the Wildcats to a 10-3 mark and the state semifinals during his senior season.
• Garnered All-Northeast district accolades as a junior…helped Wildcats win 11 of 13 games as St. Ignatius would also advance to the state semifinals.
• Enjoys fishing, playing golf and going to the movies.
• Has plans on starting a career in real estate when his playing days are over.
• Supports Anthony Munoz and Garth Brooks charitable foundations.
